Product certification is defined as a procedure in which the third party confirms whether the product, process or service of the enterprise meets specific requirements and whether it has the ability to produce products in accordance with the standard continuously and stably through inspection and evaluation of the enterprise's quality management system and sample type test, and provides written proof.

ErP (Energy-related Products Energy Efficiency Directive) is one of the four European CE certification directives, the other three are: LVD (Safety directive), EMC (Electromagnetic compatibility directive), ROHS (toxic and hazardous substances directive). CE is a mandatory directive for importing products to EU countries, while ErP has been implemented since September 1, 2013.
